ject to the content of their parent house, to execute, jointly with

my London Company, the Texas Company's regular form of contract.

As the consent given to me by the Texas Coupany in regarċ

to Lesura. Reiss's appointment w..s subject to this condition, d

to the one regarding their status (as I reported to you in my letter of the 22nd January last), the matter is now practically settled,

that is to say I have no doubt that the London parent house of the

firm, who referred the atter to Hongkong, will now fall into line.

This articularly in view of the fact that the Agreement sent by me to London (as reported in my last letter to you) concedes 3 com- mission, instead of the 1/2 as now proposed by the Hongkong house,
